On the occasion of Bhogali Bihu Eve , Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma has been showered with gifts from his well wishers. He was gifted with love and affection by the people for the upcoming Bhogali Bihu festivities.
The members of Greater Ujan Bazar SC Unemployed Fishermen Association honoured the Assam Chief Minister with a Phulam Gamosa followed by a 10-kg Aari fish . Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma took to twitter to share the moment and acknowledged the association namely the vice-president ,Shri Dilu Das, executive president Shri Harit Medhi & general secretary Bhaskar Das .
The Assam Chief Minister was also gifted a 7-kg Silgharia fish, rice cakes, puffed rice laddus, ghee, curd, etc, from Kamatapur Autonomous Council member Shri Pranabjyoti Barman.
The Chief Minister was presented a portrait of his family made by three youth from Jalukbari constituency – Shri Nripen Kalita, Shri Shiva Sil & Abdul Matin.
The moments were shared by him on Twitter while individually acknowledging all for their love and expression .
