15 candidates were elected to different offices of the Post Graduate Student Union (PGSU)2021-22. Hemen Kalita and Biki Sarmah have been elected as the President and General Secretary of PGSU. The results of the poll which were held on November 30 were announced on November 1.
All together four candidates backed by the All Assam Student Union(AASU), four NSUI backed candidates. Three candidates backed by Assam Chatra Parisad and two candidates each backed by ABVP and Chatra Mukti Sangram Samiti.
