Japan former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe died after a Man shot twice while he was giving speech in the southern city of Nara on Friday morning.
The suspect has been identified as Nara resident Tetsuya Yamagami, 41 year old who believed to be a former member of Japan maritime Self Defence force is now in police custody. According to the local media Mr Abe came as a part of campaign for his former party, Liberal Democratic Party, as upper house election in Japan.
Mr. Abe is known to be the longest serving Prime Minister marking from December 2012 to September 2020 Japan. He has been best known for his signature “Abenomics” policy, which featured bold monetary easing and fiscal spending.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also expressed his shock “Our thoughts are with his family and the people of Japan at this time” he tweeted.
