Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan is all set to steal the limelight but this time in the field of acting. Irfan seems to have taken his
all-rounder identity to a whoel new level after he steals the show with his silver screen debut in Tamil thriller film ‘Cobra’. As soon as the trailer for the movie dropped, several cricketers congratulated Pathan and wished him for his grand debut. The movie stars South Indian superstar Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. Meanwhile Irfan’s former teammates Suresh Raina and Robin Uthappa were among those to wish him, as well as all-rounder Deepak Hooda also mentioned about recalling a past conversation with Pathan where he once told Hooda that he would “do everything in life” as he is an all-rounder. Now this sounds like Irfan has manifested his new venture.
However Suresh Raina tweeted “So happy for you brother to watch you perform in #Cobra. This looks like a complete action packed film, wishing you & entire cast huge success on this. Can’t wait to watch this one,”
Irfan Pathan has also shared the trailer of his debut film on Twitter, and captioned it as “Every Problem Has A Mathematical Solution.”
Pathan will be seen sharing the screen with renowned South Indian actor Chiyaan Vikram and KGF fame Shrinidhi Shetty. He will portray the role of an Interpol agent in this film. The Tamil thriller film ‘Cobra’ is set to release on August 31.
