As per an official notification in this regard was released by the Assam government on Thursday, the results for the Assam direct recruitment grade III and IV posts , will be declared on September 18.
Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma earlier had said that the results for the Assam direct recruitment grade III and IV posts will be declared before the Durga Puja holidays but after the notification it seems the result will be declared earlier than the puja holidays.
The exams for the Assam direct recruitment grade III and IV posts grade III and IV posts were held in the month of August. As per sources, after a Chief Secretarial meeting was held with the officials of various departments of the government on September 13, the decision was made to declare the results on or by 18th September.
Assam Direct Recruitment Examination(ADRE) has been grabbing the attention of all after a major controversy sparked after Victor Das, who owns a coaching institute in Guwahati, claimed about a ‘scam’ in the recruitment process of the Assam direct recruitment exams , According to his claim a section of people were demanding Rs 3-8 lakh for the posts.
After this controversy many aspirants doubted the recruitment process .
Victor has been accused of spreading rumours and misinterpretating the incident . Victor Das was arrested by the Assam police and was booked under sections 120B, 153, 153A, 384 and 505 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
However, the Gauhati high court in Assam has granted him an interim bail till September 29.
Meanwhile as per source the results will be declared for 11,662 posts in various departments of the Government of Assam where the Chief Minister Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma will hand over the appointment letters to 11662 selected candidates at Khanapara Veterinary Field. Over 5000 posts in the Home and Political Department will be filled up while over 3700 posts in the Education department will be filled after this huge recruitment drive.
