Shillong city will soon have another five star hotel after Taj Vivanta. The new 5 star hotel will be from the Marriot group.
This new five-star hotel will probably be named Courtyard Marriott. The Courtyard Marriott hotel will be located at Jail Road in Shillong, Meghalaya.
However The former Crowborough Hotel will be inaugurated as the Taj Vivanta, Shillong in September 26, on Thursday . The then Crowborough Hotel was left ‘abandoned’ for 36 years
Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma announced about the development on Wednesday.He also inspected the Hotel premises.
As per reports the Crowborough Hotel which was first proposed and conceived in 1987 was in the news throughout the last three and half decades because of innumerable delays in construction.
