On the occasion of Durga Puja, the Tripura Government has announced a nine-day leave for its employees .
And this nine-day leave would begin on October 2.
In the last two years the celebration of Durga Puja was affected due to restrictions of Covid pandemic. But now it seems the previous charm and festive spirit has returned with added advantage of longer leave .
As per reports, additional power supply has also been arranged by the state government from Meghalaya and Mizoram while enhancing its own capacity to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the festival.
Earlier the government holidays were limited to the celebration of ‘Maha Saptami’, Maha Asthami’ ‘Maha Nabami’ and for ‘Maha Dashami’, but now government extended the holidays for five more days till celebration of Laxmi Puja.
