Reportedly with an aim to boost adventure tourism in Tripura, paragliding and paramotoring facilities would be inaugurated on Sept 29 by Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.
In a recent press conference,Tourism minister Pranajit Singha Roy informed that the paragliding facility would be launched at Vanghmun (Jampui Hills) while the para-motoring facility would be introduced at Neermahal.
He also said that the state government is hopeful that these new facilities would attract adventure lovers in more numbers.
The Tourism minister further announced that to mark World Tourism Day on September 27, there are programmes taken up by the Tripura Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) . The World Tourism Day theme for this year is ‘Rethinking Tourism’.
According to reports , there are plans to develop a Digital Museum at the iconic Pushbanta Palace along with an initiative to lay the Foundation Stone for the project by President Droupadi Murmu ison October 14 next.
Apart from this, tourist locations like Chabimura, Narkelkunja and Dumboor Lake are being developed with new facilities.
Tourism minister Pranajit Singha Roy further added that there has been a good number of rise in the number of tourists, both domestic and international, since 2018 in Tripura .
