Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga informed that for the implementation of the state health care scheme,the state government would receive a loan of Rs. 1,000 crore from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) .
During his recent visit to Delhi , the Mizoram CM met with the leaders at the Centre and officials of ADB and discussed over the issue.
While addressing the party meeting at Hnam Run he said on Monday that “out of the entire Rs. 1,000 crore, Rs. 720 crore will be repaid by the Central government while Mizoram will repay only 28 per cent of the loan amount”.
The Chief Minister informed that during his recent two-week-long visit to Delhi, he met several Central leaders, including President, Prime Minister, Home Minister, Defence Minister, Finance Minister, Education Minister, Health Minister, Social Empowerment Minister and MoRTH Minister.
The CM further mentioned about his meeting with Union Health Minister and said that , he urged the union minister for the academic and infrastructural improvement and upgradation of Zoram Medical College & Zemabawk Cancer Hospital.
Also in November ,Union Home Minister Amit Shah would visit Mizoram to open Assam Rifles headquarters at Zokhawsang about 15 km from Aizawl.
