The Guinness World Records has officially declared that Monday is the worst day of the week.
This news seems to fall in line with the actual feelings of people for Monday. Although Guinness World Records made it official but its seems people already accepted it as a fact long back.
The phrase ‘Monday Blues’ is something we often hear or use . Monday seems to connect with the stress and lethargy to join the office in the very first day of work in a week. Many people agree that with the competitive yet monotonous work culture in our country there is already a sense of anxiety and depression among the employees and it even intensifies in the name of Monday.
After weekend Monday being the first day is termed as the most depressing and gloomy as it seems to slow down the energy and enthusiasm of people ,as a result it affects the productivity. As per reports, In American literature of the 1830s, Blue Monday referred to the hungover state of the labor workforce after a weekend spent drinking, and the association of the color blue with a depressed state of mind.
Hence to beat the Monday Blues and deal with anxiety issues people tend to use different ways and hacks but however Monday panic mode still continues .
So looking at the status of Monday among the people , Guinness World Records made it official and declared it as the worst day of the week. taking it their Twitter handle it wrote,
“We’re officially giving Monday the record for the worst day of the week.”
we're officially giving monday the record of the worst day of the week
