A shocking and weird incident of a private hospital in Prayagraj has come into light, the family of a dengue patient who died during treatment in a hospital has now alleged that the patient was transfused with sweet lime juice (Mosambi Juice) instead of plasma by the hospital.
According to reports the dengue patient identified as Pradeep Pandey aged 32 -year-old was admitted at the Global Hospital and Trauma Centre in Prayagraj and during treatment he was given bags marked as ‘plasma’. But as per the claims of the relatives, after the transfusion ,the patient’s condition deteriorated and hence he was shifted to another hospital but unfortunately he died there during the treatment.
It was even more shocking for the family when the doctors at the second hospital told them that the “Plasma” bag was actually a mix of chemicals and Mosambi juice .
According to doctors, the colour of the fluid in the bag was similar to plasma but was much thinner.
The incident was brought into light through a video which went viral on social media. The video iss een allegedly showing mosambi juice inside a blood pack. After watching the video, the district administration instantly took action into their hands and the hospital was sealed on Thursday on the direction of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak. The video allegedly exposing a fake blood bank unit from UP has now gone viral on social media.
