The discussion over the existence of the supernatural often turns into a debate. While some disagree with any such existence ,but some others claim to have encountered the dead in different circumstances.
Similarly some of our favorite actors have also claimed to have been introduced with some supernatural beings. Generally during the shooting of a horror movie , some sort of negative energy gets a way to create an eerie feeling in the shooting set sometimes even resulting into paranormal activities. But there are also some instances where an actor encountered paranormal even if the shooting was for a different genre .
Let’s check some of their experiences –
Varun Dhawan- During the shooting of ABCD 2, Varun Dhawan was staying in a hotel, which was coincidentally the favorite of legendary singer Frank Sinatra. Varun was given a suite that was said to be haunted by the ghost of the actor-singer. After a long day at shoot ,when Varun came back tired to sleep in his room, he heard some strange sounds and the door even creaked open on its own.Varun even heard someone singing and the doors would just fling open. This made him believe that the suite was definitely haunted.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui –
Justifying the name of the movie “Aatma- Feel It Around You” starring actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bipasha Basu. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the team experienced a lot of spooky incidents on the shooting sets .In one instance while shooting for a scene ,the cast and the crew, including actor Bipasha heard a woman singing. But when they played the recording again, no sound was there on the tape.
Again during the shooting of another scene with Nawaz , a photo-frame hanging on the wall behind tilted and later crashed on the floor surprisingly there was no breeze in the room nor had the nail it was hanging on fallen.
Emraan Hashmi-
During a vacation in Matheran , Emraan Hashmi was staying with his friends in a hotel where there was nobody else apart from them. Suddenly at one point they all heard someone screaming really loud. They all went out from their room to find the source of the screaming man, but couldn’t find anyone. It was a restless night for the actor and his friends since the screaming didn’t stop.
Soha Ali Khan-
While shooting for the movie ‘Gangs of Ghosts, actor Soha Ali Khan and her co-star Mahi Gill had some spooky experiences on the sets. Both the actresses complained about hearing unusual and unexplainable noises from vacant rooms. Sensing the danger of any unwanted happenings the entire film crew packed up and left immediately.
Govinda-
Veteran actor Govinda had the most freakiest encounter enough for him to believe in ghosts. One day while shooting for a film in some hilly area, he was staying in a hotel. Suddenly in the middle of the night he woke up and found a woman sitting on his chest. Also the room looked even untidy after he woke up .
Saroj Khan-
Bollywood’s first woman choreographer ,Saroj Khan mentioned about an instance when she was staying at a hotel with her troupe when suddenly they heard someone shifting the furniture in the room above. But when they called the reception to complain about the noise, they were told that there was no floor above.
Neil Nitin Mukesh-
During the shooting for a horror movie named 3G, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh remembered about the light boy on the sets who came running and telling that he saw someone standing by his side who later passed right through him.
Neil even tweeted about it ,“ Now for some anecdotes! So weirdly but true. So we were shooting at this one location which apparently is supposed to be haunted! And the unit boys did experience a presence. One of our light boys came running complaining that some one was standing by his side. And passed right through him. At first we thought he was joking trying to create sensation but then when he sat trembling like a leaf Is when we sat and heard him out.”
Bipasha Basu-
Bipasha Basu faced some freaky incidents during the shooting for Gunah at Mukesh Mill . Apparently Bipasha was unable to learn her lines in some of the rooms. And Sometime later, another actress was shooting at the same location for some other film, and suddenly she started behaving like being possessed. The actress was taken to a hospital where she died.
Adah Sharma-
Ada was shooting for Vikram Bhatt’s supernatural thriller “1920”. If you have seen the movie then you might have seen the castle used for the shoot. 1920 was shot in Allerton Castle situated in Yorkshire in northern England.
Adah during an interview mentioned that the castle was famously known to be haunted.
“A single old man stayed there and his wife died and her spirit still lives on there. There was a painting of a woman with dark black hair and blue eyes and we all thought I resembled her. So the photographer asked me to get a still photo taken standing in front of the painting.
“The caretaker said that any pictures taken in front of the paining don’t get developed. But we went ahead and took a few pictures. But when we transferred the pictures to a laptop, they all came blurred or blank! That was quite spooky!”
