The singer of this song was Bhuban Badyakar , who was a peanut seller in West Bengal but he shot to instant fame and turned into an overnight internet sensation after this song . Destiny brought him a positive transformation after a passerby filmed him singing the quirky jingle Kacha Badam.
Now this famed 51-year-old singer is all set with his new track titled “Ekhan Ami Bechi Na Badam” , which translates to “Now, I don’t sell peanuts anymore” .
While narrating about his transformed life after Kacha badam fame , Bhuban Badyakar said that because of this sudden transformation he has no time to sell peanuts. He has a better life surrounded with car and vehicles which he has highlighted through his songs.
As per reports former peanut vendor, Bhuban Badyakar was also felicitated by the West Bengal Police and in various places throughout the state for his innovative and original song.
However time will say if his new track will be able to stand out like the previous one or not.
