The 49th Nyethrii Dow festival of the Aka (Hrusso) community began with traditional fervour and gaiety here in West Kameng district, Arunachal Pradesh .
This festival is celebrated in a grand way by the community called Hrusso (Aka) from West Kameng district, Itanagar Arunachal Pradesh.
The festival of harvest is observed with different festivities including traditional events , songs, dance performances , community games and many more .
Taking to Twitter, Kiren Rijuju, Union Law Minister has extended greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh on the occasion of Nyethrii-Dow.
“On the occasion of Nyethrii-Dow festival I extend my best wishes to the people of Arunachal Pradesh, particularly to the Hrusso (Aka) community. May this colorful festival brings happiness, prosperity and peace to the State.”
Meanwhile Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu also greeted the people on this occasion ,
