The 49th Nyethrii Dow festival of the Aka (Hrusso) community began with traditional fervour and gaiety here in West Kameng district, Arunachal Pradesh .
This festival is celebrated in a grand way by the community called Hrusso (Aka) from West Kameng district, Itanagar Arunachal Pradesh.
The festival of harvest is observed with different festivities including traditional events , songs, dance performances , community games and many more .
Taking to Twitter, Kiren Rijuju, Union Law Minister has extended greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh on the occasion of Nyethrii-Dow.

Meanwhile Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu also greeted the people on this occasion ,
