#RIPTwitter Trends on Twitter after mass resignations

Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter ,topics related to the company seems to be trending every now and then .

After mass layoffs Twitter is now trending because of mass resignations by twitter employees after Elon Musk  gave his  employees an ultimatum to either commit to the company’s new “hardcore” work environment or leave.

After this ultimatum multiple workers decided to go for the latter option which has led Twitter’s operations at risk  according to reports. The exact figure of Twitter employees resigning is not known but it has been reported that  that the numbers are in the hundreds. Many old dedicated employees of the company have also resigned as per reports. In addition Twitter’s DM of engineering also announced his resignation on Twitter.

And besides as a result of the mass resignations , Twitter has temporarily closed its offices until Monday, according to further reports .

Below is the memo the company sent out to staff announcing the office closure:

Hi, Effective immediately, we are temporarily closing our office buildings and all badge access will be suspended. Offices will reopen on Monday, November 21st.

Thank you for your flexibility. Please continue to comply with company policy by refraining from discussing confidential company information on social media, with the press or elsewhere.

We look forward to working with you on Twitter’s exciting future .
