A group of scientists has recently revived a ‘zombie virus’ which is over 48,000 years old and was buried deep in Russia . This has somehow pointed towards the prediction made by Baba Vanga , as it seems the prediction has somewhat come true again.
Predictions of Baba Vanga has been world famous because of those coming true . Baba Vanga was born in Bulgaria in the year 1911 and is famous for her predictions.Baba Vanga lost both her eyes in an accident at the age of just 12 . It is claimed that God had given her divine vision and because of this she lost her eyesight.
Baba Vanga also had predicted Siberia would present a new virus to the world in 2022. According to the prophecy the virus was buried frozen, and will be unleashed to the world due to global warming.
Strangely this sounds creepy enough because that’s what exactly happened recently.
The climate change and global warming has triggered to the melting of frost leading to release of some microbes trapped so far in the ice for thousands of years.
A team of French scientists have now revived these ‘zombie viruses’ from the Siberian frost, including one which is now being reported to be around 50,000 years old. As per a New York Post report , the ‘zombie virus’ was discovered after enormous swathes of permafrost — permanently frozen ground that covers one-quarter of the Northern Hemisphere melted away due to global warming. The scientists have sparked fears of yet another pandemic.
While the Pandoravirus was discovered at the bottom of a lake in Yukechi Alas, Yakutia, Russia, others have been found everywhere, from mammoth fur to Siberian wolf intestines. Yakutia is the coldest human-inhabited place on earth.
Scientists believe that COVID-19-like pandemics will become more common in the future as melting permafrost releases long-dormant viruses like a microbial Captain America, as per New York Post.
The newly-thawed virus might only be the tip of the epidemiological iceberg as there are likely more hibernating viruses yet to be discovered.
