As per a latest report the first strong evidence in the horrifying murder case of Shraddha Walkar is found after it has been confirmed by a DNA test that the bones that were recovered from a south Delhi forest are Shraddha Walkar’s .
Shraddha Walkar was murdered earlier this year in May allegedly by her live-in partner Aaftab Poonawala . The results of the DNA test has got matched to samples from Shraddha’s father, Vikas Walkar.
Shraddha Walkar who was 27 years old at the time of her death was believed to have been murdered by her live -in partner Aaftab Poonawala at her home in Delhi’s Chhatarpur in the month of May this year after an argument with Poonawala, who then allegedly killed her and then bled her body dry, chopped it up into 35 pieces and stored them in a purpose-bought refrigerator. In order to avoid suspection ,he then took trips at nights to scatter her body parts in the forest areas of the city.
28 years old Aaftab Poonawala was arrested for the murder on November 12 . The police had recovered 13 bone pieces from the area while searching for Walkar’s body parts. Shraddha’s bones were recovered by police after Aaftab led them to a dumping site .
The police had put two different tests on Aaftab – a polygraph and a narco analysis – The tests were done get to the core and to help authorities to detect the fact from fiction.
The reports of which were submitted on Wednesday. As per reports , Poonawala confessed about murdering shraddha during the polygraph test.
