Biswanath Charali district in Assam has been selected for “Space Tutor Programme”.
The ISRO has invited ‘Scientific Temperament’ NGO members at Bengaluru under Space Tutor Programme.
Scientific Temperament is from Biswanath Chariali and it is the only organization from Assam invited by ISRO under its Space Tutor Programme.
As per information Scientific Temperment is the only organisation selected from Assam till date,said official.
The main aim of this organization is to create an ecosystem for the students and public to know more about the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
ISRO encourages institutions which are involved in STEM activities for reaching out to students at large. It engages with NGOs or educational institutions without any commercial advantage to develop interest of students in Space science.
India Space Research Organisation started Space Tutor Programme.
As per reports under it members Non governmental organisation or educational institutions in field of STEM will be trained who further impart training to students.
Notedly, the launching of the Space Tutor Programme has been scheduled on August 5.
