“When two cultures meet, nothing is beautiful than that,” That’s how a caption goes for a viral video where a South Korean woman is seen performing an Indian classical dance, Odissi at a social function. The Dancer named Beena Keum was dressed in a Patta saree, and with grace she was beautifully executing the Odissi dance steps to a South Korean song with Indian classical beats. Beena Keum was later joined by an Indian woman dancer on stage who performed Kathak with her.
The video was shared on Instagram by @mylovefromkorea17. This video proves how some foreigners love to embrace your culture.
People across the world are often seen embracing other cultures specifically the Indian culture. It is really pleasing to watch foreigners wearing Indian ethnic dress and also enjoying Indian cuisine or even Indian dance and songs .
There are some names who justified their love and fondness for India through music and dance , Tanzanian siblings Kili Paul and his sister Neema have won Indian hearts with their Bollywood lip-syncing videos. Even though they don’t know hindi but the duo perfectly recreate bollywood songs with the right lip-sync . Next is the Norway-based dance group ‘Quick Style’ who just astounded the Indians with their energy-packed performance in a wedding dance video on ‘Kala Chashma’ . The video still dominates the Indian viewers who can never get tired of watching their moves perfectly synching with the song. The Norwegian dance group has so far recreated several bollywood songs with unique dance steps.
No wonder music has no boundaries and it connects and brings everyone together.
