One of the favorite snack of all times which is loved by people of almost all ages is undoubtedly “Samosa”. Specially during rainy seasons some people never mind to burn their mouth with hot piping samosas . This Indian snack now comes with a lot a variety ingredients as filling so as to satisfy the craving of the taste buds. But the shape and size of the samosa remains same to look but the filling inside gets tough to be identified . Whatever filling it might be inside , all samosas, more or less, look the same with crispy fried triangular crust.
While some sellers have an extraordinary expertise in identifying the food they prepare irrespective of their shape size and names but somehow some order might get messed up because of mistake in identifying the categories. Say if you order a paneer samosa but you get a plain veg samosa instead , you might end up feeling cheated right .
Hence to sort out this identification problem , a bengaluru eatery decided to stamp an identifying mark on samosas. The samosa are stamped with the labels of the kind of filling inside it!
A twitter user shared about this samosa innovation. The user named Shobhit Bakliwal posted a picture of two samosas marked with words ‘aloo’ and ‘noodles’ to recognize the filling inside .
The caption of the post read, “The real food tech innovation in Bengaluru”.
Although the eatery was initially not identified but through comments section it was revealed that the idea of the samosas were from an eatery named ‘Samosa Party’ in Bengaluru. The eatery responded to the post saying,
“Thank you, Shobhit, glad you noticed. This solves an important customer problem sustainably – fillings can be identified without breaking the samosas in case of assorted orders.”
Interestingly across India there are several types of samosas available to satisfy different taste buds and the names are: Keema Samosa, Chicken Samosa, Paneer Samosa, Matar Samosa, Meat samosa, Fish samosa, Cheese samosa, Pasta samosa, Chocolate samosa, Khoya samosa, Egg Samosa, Maggi or Noodles Samosa, Mushroom Samosa etc.
