The making of Adipurush movie still remains Aadhi (half done) because of continuous backlash received so far. The makers of the film are being slammed by people across the country for allegedly hurting their religious sentiments.
The budget of the film is around Rs 450-500 crore which makes it one of the expensive Indian films ever.
Earlier, it was reported that the makers of the film would spend an additional Rs 100 crore to improve the VFX of the film .
Now as per the latest report in ETimes, the makers of Adipurush have decided to shave off Saif’s beard using VFX . After the teaser of the film got released , people all across the nation criticized the look of Saif Ali Khan as Ravana/Lankesh, who is seen sporting a beard and a buzz cut.

In the 1st week of November , Director Om Raut released a statement announcing the film’s new release date. He shared it on his social media handles, He wrote,
“Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our Sanskriti and history. To give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. Adipurush will now release on June 16th, 2023. We are committed to making a film that India will be proud of. Your support, love, and blessings are what keep us going.”
The film has a huge casting including actors Prabhas as Raghava , Kriti Sanon as Janaki , Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh , Sunny Singh as Lakshmana , Devdatta Nage as Hanuman and many more.
