Almost everyone knows the story of Ranu mandal, once known to be an Internet sensation who rose to fame by singing a song at the Ranaghat railway station. She was abandoned by her daughters and relatives and as per reports Ranu Mandal currently performs at some local clubs .The biopic on her life will highlight the ups and downs of her life.
Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai is directed by Hrishikesh Mondal and will feature Eshika Dey who has also featured in Sacred Games. Eshika was also a part of a series named Laal Kaptaan .
Eshika had to lose 10 kgs for this upcoming film.

Initially the movie was named Miss Ranu Maria, however now after being officially announced the film will be called Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai .
