Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam — Dream is not that you see in sleep, dream is something that does not let you sleep.
DREAMS are one such common thing which we all have .Every one around us dream and its not about dreaming with close eyes but its about the dream that we have with open eyes..
Every year on September 25, World Dream Day is observed. World Dream Day encourages families , individuals and communities across the globe to create their dreams in reality with hard work.
There are many dreams that turned into reality with hard work and perseverance . We have to dream big to create something bigger and bring them into existence. We just need to hold on to our dreams. This day is a powerful reminder to take action for our dreams. This day encourages people across the world to declare, share, and activate and celebrate their dreams.
This initiative was taken at Columbia University in the year 2012, by Ozioma Egwuonwu ,the educator and leading transformational strategist. Ozioma Egwuonwu has been featured in motivational shows such as “TEDx” and has spoken at platforms of world-leading organizations like the U.N.
World Dream Day was launched ten years ago, with the purpose to bring dreamers and visionaries together to express their future dreams. Egwuonwu mentions that the main aim of creating this day was to “heal and inspire humanity.”
We all have dreams but keeping our dreams alive is what we need to do to bring them into reality. Keeping dreams alive is what we need to do today. Without those dreams by those great dreamers and without those great inventions our life wouldn’t have been so easier and we wouldn’t have achieved such a progressive world . Because behind those dreams lies the hard work of some people who had the guts to dream big.
So on this day we can start visualizing our dreams and move past the fear of failure and start taking actions. So what to wait for keep on dreaming and keep on creating them into reality.
