Out of many upcoming films in bollywood there is one much awaited film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a completely unique and different character . The film is Haddi directed by debutante filmmaker Akshat Ajay Sharma and will feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui as lead character.
Ever since the first look of Nawazuddin in the film has been dropped ,fans are left awestruck , he seems unrecognizable in the initial attempts. The film is gaining all the attention and netizens are more curious to watch the talented actor portraying a role for the first time ever.
Although Nawazuddin was seen portraying different interesting characters in the past but comparing the look , Haddi seems unique .
In the first look, Nawaz was seen donning a silver shimmery gown and transforming into a woman’s avatar so gracefully. Fans were extremely impressed with him and his look and besides many of them even compared the look to Archana Puran Singh. However in an interview Archana Puran singh was quoted saying that she feels ‘it is a huge compliment to be compared to Nawaz in any way possible.’
While stepping into the unique role for Haddi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has worked with more than 80+ real-life transgender women. While expressing about his experience, the actor said, “Working with real-life trans women has been an incredible experience in Haddi. He further describes it as an honour and a privilege to understand & learn more about the community. Their presence was empowering.”
According to reports , Nawazuddin takes three hours to get his hair, make-up and outfit done for his female look in Haddi. He also adds because of this experience he can fully understand how tedious is for the actresses to get ready.
He was even quoted saying , “Now I know why an actress may take longer than her male counterpart to get out of her vanity van. It’s absolutely justified. I will have more patience now (laughs)! “
The revenge drama film Haddi will release in 2023.
