The West Bengal Government has decided to honour Legendary Singer #KK with gun shots.
This was announced by the State CM Mamata Banerjee, reported ANI.
“Gun salute will not be given at the airport, it will be given in Rabindra Sadan as the postmortem is still going on. We have consulted with the family, they have a 5.15 pm flight so we will pay respect there,” the CM told ANI.
Indian singer Krishnakumar Kunnath (KK) passed away in Kolkata on May 31. As per reports, the 53-year-old playback singer passed away post his performance. KK collapsed at the hotel and was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead.
