Have you ever heard about answer sheets being flying objects, well it seemed so when recently last week many answer sheets flew out of a United Parcel Service truck while being transported for checking . and now as per reports more than 50 students at El Paso High School in the United States may be required to retake the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT).
According to a recent statement by District spokeswoman Liza Rodriguez, El Paso Independent School – all but 55 of the answer sheets had been found . In addition she also informed that the district was working on the matter with the College Board to find a solution for students who had to bear the loss.
Unfortunately, 55 students in Texas will have to retake the SAT or take the ACT instead. Moreover as per further reports apart from reappearing the test some students are also seen concerned about the personal information included on the unrecovered sheets.
According to the school district, College-bound El Paso High School students had completed their SATs at the end of October. After the test, their answer sheets were then “securely submitted to UPS,”.
But the incident of hundreds of answer sheets being blown away nearby Mesa street has been captured in a video which has now gone viral.
Meanwhile UPS has apologized and extended their apologies to the students for the careless incident as they continued to look and recover the missing sheets .
SAT is a standardized test administered by the College Board and is required to be taken by students seeking admission to undergraduate schools. The full form of SAT is the Scholastic Assessment Test, which was earlier known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test.
