- The movie ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ released in 1960 was a trilingual – according to reports, all the scenes of the movie was shot thrice in Hindi, Tamil and English. But when the Tamil one flopped miserably, the English language one was aborted.
- According to Imdb.com, during the shoot of a fire scene in the movie Mother India, actor Sunil Dutt famously saved Nargis during the fire sequence. Nargis was shown trapped inside a raging fire while Sunil Dutt jumps in and saves her. But the blaze roared out of control leaving Nargis stranded. Sunil Dutt quickly grabbed a blanket and plunged inside and, wrapping the blanket around themselves, the two ran out. Sunil dutt was injured with several painful burns but it also resulted in Nargis falling in love with him. They were married within a year.
- The famous Gabbar singh of Sholay ,actor Amjad Khan was almost dropped from ‘Sholay’ (1975) because his voice was considered weak by scriptwriter Javed Akhtar for Gabbar Singh’s role. As per reports , Danny Denzongpa was approached for that role initially. But it finally turned out that actor Amjad Khan was undoubtedly the best choice for the role .
- Rekha ,the gorgeous veteran actress is the perfect epitome of gorgeousness and style. But You might have observed that during public appearances ,style diva Rekha wears only crimson or chocolate colored lipstick.
- It is said that filmmaker Karan Johar made an alternate ending of Kal Ho Na Ho . He edited Kal Ho Na Ho again for the sake of SRK’s kids: Kal Ho Na Ho is undoubtedly one of the most emotional and heart touching movies of Bollywood .While the role of SRK made all his fans cry but this scene wouldn’t have been easy for SRK’s kids to watch hence their uncle Karan Johar decided to edit the ending specially for the sake of the kids. As per the edited scene it shows SRK’s character Aman flying away.
- Heroine – justifying the title, Kareena Kapoor Khan -the lead heroine of the film, wore 130 dresses by top fashion designers around the globe for the film Heroine that released in 2012 . As per reports , Kareena’s wardrobe for the film was one of the most expensive out of all the Bollywood movies ever created.
