The ‘Northeast Autumn Festival 2022’ will be held from October 20-26 at Jorcheng Meadow in Lunghar Village of Ukhrul, Manipur, a 1-hour scenic and beautiful drive from the main Ukhrul Town. Jorcheng is located at the foothills of the famous Phangrei Peak.
Ukhrul , inhabited by the Tangkhul Naga Tribes is the highest hill station in Manipur. Tangkhuls are whereas known for their hospitality as well as for their vibrant rich cultures and traditions. Ukhrul is one of the hotspot and favorite destination for many tourists in Manipur offering many experiences and places to visit. The month of October is a festive season in Ukhrul right after its agricultural harvest. This period of the year is the most pleasant season just before the winter chill.
The main objective to organize The ‘Northeast Autumn Festival 2022’ is to welcome tourists and promote Eco-Tourism as well as unveil the High-Quality Tourism in the North East
The event will comprise of Music concert by various artists from all the northeastern states including Rock Bands, Pop music, Folk artist and contemporary folk, Indigenous music instruments and EDM also Indigenous Tournaments and art and crafts will also be showcased, plus there will be budget and value travel experience for guests .The festival will also include adventure activities installed at the campsite for an overall fun filled experience. Lastly for the foodies , a widespread of Exotic food from the northeast and multi-cuisine food stalls and cafes will be also be available at the site.
