Aiming to encourage and provide a platform to the numerous boutiques and indigenous artisans of the region, the Rignai Fashion Clan is organizing Tripura Fashion Week on September 24.
During the announcement of the event ,the Tripura Fashion Week organizers on Sunday said that this event will give a platform to the numerous boutiques and artisans of Tripura to highlight and display their works and their creativity reflecting the social, cultural and traditional aspects of Tripura.
Also this will boost the artisan movement thereby giving an exposure to all the local designers and artisans to get highlighted and receive networking alliances with partners and markets locally and within the country.
After this, the selected designers and weavers from Tripura Fashion Week will also get a chance to participate in the 6th edition of Northeast India Fashion Week to be held in Guwahati.
Fashion Designer and Founder of Yana in Style, Yana Ngoba said, we will soon announce the date of the 6th edition of North East India Fashion Week to be held in Guwahati . Selected designers and weavers among the participants in Arunachal Fashion Week, Tripura Fashion Week and Nagaland Fashion Week will grab the chance to showcase their collection in the North East India Fashion Week ,Guwahati,”.
Yana Ngoba will be displaying her collection ‘Colours of Northeast’ at Tripura Fashion Week.
Aiming to promote women empowerment in Tripura, the Tripura Fashion Week is trying to establish the different skills, qualities, and various works by women.
