BJP Rajya Sabha MP Pabitra Margherita who is also a spokesperson of Assam BJP unit has been appointed as Political Secretary to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma
The 48 year spokesperson who is also incharge of social media team succeed Nalbari MLA jayanta Malla Baruah who was induced to the state cabinet recently. He also expressed his gratitude to the chief Minister state party president Bhabesh Kalita. Kalita said,” Margherita has been discharged from his duties assigned by the party so that he can perform his new role successfully.
“I am very fortunate to be appointed as political secretary to such a competent, dynamic, hard-working and popular chief minister of the country,” he said.
Margherita expressed his gratitude to the chief minister for appointment as his political secretary.
