As per sources, Tripura CM Manik Saha has already resigned from a position of Rajya Sabha MP on Monday in New Delhi.
Dr Saha will take oath as a member of the Tripura legislative assembly on July 8 next.
Saha was elected to the Rajya Sabha in April as the first ever BJP nominee to be elevated to the Upper House of Parliament from Tripura. He became Chief Minister of the State a day after his predecessor, Biplab Kumar Deb, resigned on May 14.
