Press Note: 18th December 2021, Assam Sahatya Sabha Sadan, The ECDF, Early Child development Forum organized a training program cum workshop on 18th December 2021 in association with University of Cambridge Association Press. The theme of the seminar cum workshop was implementation of NEP curriculum in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
The workshop was led by few of the distinguish speakers from regional, national and international arena, like Dr. Vasavvi Acharjya Founder Chairperson of ECDF, DNAF and Tender Petals pre-school, Dr. Vishwanathan Jayaraman Chairman and Founder Trustee of IBBRF NGO, Soumitra Datta Head of Publishing South Asia, Cambridge University, Meenakshi Barthakur Consultant Psychologist (MIND India, Royal Global School). The speakers outside Assam took part in workshop through virtual platform.
The topics included sessions on Integrating social, emotional, and academic learning in ECE, mental health in early years, dissecting NEP for ECE, and Neuro Science and Human Cognition. This was a much-needed workshop cum seminar as the educator got a clear idea on the scope of NEP in early childhood education
The Founder Chairperson of ECDF Dr. Vasavvi Acharjya presented a certificate of competition to all participants at the end of the workshop and said that “This kind of sessions needs to be organized, so that educators remain updated with the latest in ECE”.
