Recently Rohit Shetty and Bollywood Couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone was seen during the “Current Laga Re” song launch event from Cirkus movie. While addressing the media , Rohit Shetty revealed about his next installment of his popular Singham franchise, where Deepika Padukone will be joining the cast as the lady cop .
Rohit Shetty also informed they will begin shooting for the film next year, in 2023.
“We are making Singham next. Everyone kept asking me who is the lady cop in my universe. So today, let me confirm that Deepika Padukone will be the lady Singham, the lady cop in Singham 3. We start shooting next year,” Rohit Shetty was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla .
While reminding and appreciating the performance of Deepika as Meenaamma in the Rohit Shetty directorial ‘Chennai Express’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan , Ranveer mentioned it to be one of her career’s best performances. He even expressed his excitement about the Collaboration between Rohit Shetty and Deepika Padukone.
Rohit Shetty’s Singham Franchise includes Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. Singham 3 will be marking Ajay Devgn and Deepika’s first on-screen collaboration.
Meanwhile apart from Cirkus, Deepika Padukone has several other projects lined up. Deepika will be next seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, Project k, Fighter, and Jawan as well.
