Videos are seen surfacing on social media where Gujarat Police is seen thrashing around three men publicly held against an electric pole for allegedly pelting stones at a Garba event .
Reportedly this incident happened on Tuesday afternoon at Undhela village in Gujarat’s Kheda district.
As per reports seven persons, including a policeman, were injured in an attack on a Garba event by a mob on Monday night
The mob pelted stones at women and girls and also the people performing garba and around seven persons, including a Gram Rakshak Dal (GRD) jawan and a policeman were injured. Later ,13 people were arrested after an FIR was registered at the Matar police station. As per reports a mob of 150 people, including women, attacked and pelted stones at the Garba group and around 43 accused have been identified.
Reportedly later on Tuesday afternoon Cops in civil dress caught hold of a few accused and held them against an electric pole by pulling their hands and started thrashing them in public .
The men were made to apologise to the public who were cheering the police action.
