The entire world is gearing up to welcome 2023 with great enthusiam and joy . Guwahati is also all set to welcome the new year with a fall in temperature.
According to latest weather reports, Guwahati will be experiencing a fall in temperature to 11 degree celcius on 30th and 31st December.
As per the reports of regional meteorological centre in Guwahati, the city is going to witness extreme chilling weather as the minimum temperature will drop to 11 degree celcius in the coming days and the temperature has been predicted to be 24 degree celsius in Assam’s Guwahati.
The MeT department has forecast dense fog, cloudy weather and mist in the next couple of days. As per further reports Guwahati will witness shivering temperature in the 1st of January as well and the minimum temperature will be 12 degree celcius.
Assam had witnessed a severe cold temperature in the past few days between 13-14 degree celcius. Apart from the bone chilling winter, several places in Assam was hit byhailstorm such as Moran, Tingkhang, Lahowal, Lekai and Naharkatia. Several houses got destroyed due to the sudden hailstorm situation.
