Imphal’s Shereinai Bliss won the Miss Barak 2022 title at the 3rd State Level Barak Festival held in Senapati district of Manipur.
The 20 year old winner, Shereinai Bliss is a resident of the Imphal’s National Games Village and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Dhanamanjuri University Imphal.
The title winner Shereinai Bliss was quoted saying that she aspires to become a civil servant .As per reports ,last year Shereinai Bliss also won Miss Dhanamanjuri University 2021 title .Besides she was also among the top 10 finalists in the Miss Shirui Lily beauty pageant.
Meanwhile Thonjiliu Abonmei from Nalalong village of Tamenglong district was the 1st runner-up, Jianreiliu Gonmei from Nungba village in Noney district was the 2nd runner-up.
Miss Barak 2022 was awarded a prize money of Rs.1, 30, 000, the 1st runner-up with Rs.1,00,000, and 2nd runner-up with Rs.70,000 and with citations.
In the contest, the other titles were: Shoibam Sushma Devi bagged the Best Catwalk title, T. Dorothy Maram won the Beautiful Skin title, Keisham Casper won the Best Designer title, Athisa Thangal bagged the Beautiful Hair title and Babina Thokchom won the Beautiful Smile title.
The contest included a total of 18 participants from across the state.
The Miss Barak contest was attended by Y. Khemchand Singh, minister, Municipal Administration, Housing and Urban Development (MAHUD) as the chief guest.
The three-day Barak festival was organized after a gap of two years due to pandemic. The festival was celebrated under the motto “Save Mother Earth.”
