Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma was seen inspecting the ongoing beautification works of Tura Town . As a part of Tura town Beautification project, the Meghalaya CM was seen inspecting various works including the Tura-Dalu road which has been repaired and blacktopped. While taking to twitter he informed about the same and said that the Tura-Dalu road is crucial for the economic activities along the market area and for the public in general.
The CM also visited Anandamath locality in Tura to look into the issues of drainage raised by the people of the area.
Tura Town is getting ready to remove the dark streets as earlier the town was mostly gripped by darkness as there were generally minimal streetlights . Now new street lighting in Tura Town is all set to happen.
While taking to Twitter, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma shared some images of the newly installed street lights at Araimile , Tura. He wrote, “Inspected the newly installed street lights at Araimile and the ongoing beautification works of Tura town.”

With regard to the Tura town Beautification project, earlier he was quoted as saying that inspite of various challenges the project was implemented with an amount of 15 crores and that street lighting projects will commence from September or October, 2022 .
He also recently shared about the renovations of the public amenities in the Tura Supermarket which was being completed in record time. While praising the work and the team he said , “Wonderful work by the team” .
