The famous Niagra Falls has been transformed into a sparkling frozen land after being hit by the deadliest storm in 50 years.

Pictures and videos of the massive breathtaking waterfall is making rounds on internet which shows the waterfall that stands on the border between the US and Canada partially  frozen .

The waterfalls looks deadly covered with snow like a snowcovered mountain near the waterfront and the falling water transformed in to ice .

This look of waterfall is truly rare .  According to reports , more than 3,160 tons of water flow over the Falls every second.

According to the Niagara Falls New York State Park, the water rushes down the waterfall at 32 feet per second.

After the deadliest storm the waterfall turned into a snowy land.

According to the Niagara Falls USA tourism website ,the US side of the waterfall has only reached the point of freezing five times in history.

The deadly blizzard has shattered the normal life in the US after hitting on last Friday and Saturday thereby ruining the Christmas season , with a death toll of at least 62 people.

Thousands of people are being left without power , The government has put a ban on driving in the place .

After being hit by the deadly storm , thousands of flights have been cancelled  while  leaving countless passengers stranded during the  the Christmas weekend.

An emergency declaration was made on  Monday by  president Joe Biden .

‘My heart is with those who lost loved ones this holiday weekend,’ he tweeted.
