The entire world is now experiencing winter and is hit by snowstorms in US, Canada, extreme cold waves in India and extreme temperature drop in UK. A massive population across the globe is facing severe weather conditions which has also affected the holiday season marking the end of the year.
But there are also some pictures and videos making rounds on internet which shows heavy rainfall in one of the hottest regions of the world .
UAE , the dry and hot country has been experiencing heavy rainfall in the recent days . According to reports, Rainfall has increased in the region in the past decades and surprisingly people are now witnessing beyond normal rainfall in the country.
As per reports , the authorities have advised people to be cautious and stay with areas experiencing flash flood. According to Gulf News, the National Center for Meteorology has issued yellow and orange rain alerts.
After Dubai witnessed heavy rainfall on Monday, the NCM said, “…the amount of clouds will increase gradually over scattered areas of the country, accompanied by some convective clouds associated with rainfall.”
People have been alerted to expect rain and thunderclouds until Wednesday and till recently extremely heavy rainfall has poured over the desert country.
As per Gulf News, places in Dubai like Al Barsha and Dubai Investments Park got hit by rainfall. The NCM has issued a statement saying that the country can expect cloudy weather until the end of Friday, with predictions of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Although its heavy rainfall , but its unique and special for a dry country which is why people in the UAE are welcoming this rare weather unlike the usual hot and dry weather which they experience the entire year.
