Red Pandas Sikkim iconic state animals has been declining in the wild. It is inform that the mammal which mostly found in Singalila and Neora Valley Parks, the two protected areas where the mammals is found in the wild in west Bengal even in those areas is found declining due to the climate change. Red Pandas is said to stay only in the hilly region.

Meanwhile, WWF is helping communities in Sikkim protect forests and ensure that, even with rising temperatures, the red panda has a secure place to call home . WWF is also working with high-level officials from the state government’s Department of Forests, Environment and Wildlife Management to share project findings, results and recommendations.
