Huge pride for the state of Assam who set an example for young girls especially in the tribe areas. Rashiya who belonged from upper Assam Dibrugarh had recently won 11th South Asian Ashihare Karate Championship held at Chalsa in West Bengal. She is 20 years old who is interested in sports activity and play football in garden field. “For the last seven year, I’m learning Karate. Now, many girls in the Tea garden practice Karate. Every girl of Tea garden should learn Karate for self-defense” Rashiya said speaking to sentinel.
Tapan Bhuyan her coach who trained her and Maijan tea estate where she plucks tea leaves are proud because of her achievement sources said.
