As per reports the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) is preparing for Special Arrangements to prevent any kinds of effects of rain in the match .
New pitch covers are being imported by the Assam Cricket Association to cover the 22-yards in the event of rain. The pitch covers are extremely lightweight and are imported from the US .
Last time in January 2020, the match between India and Sri Lanka at the Barsapara stadium was abandoned because of heavy rain.
