A shocking incident happened in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, where a 16 yr old boy named Omendra who was watching TV at home with his friend lost his life after his LED TV exploded. His mother, sister-in-law, and friend were injured.
As per reports the LED TV explosion was so impactful and intense that a section of the wall and concrete slabs collapsed striking terror among the nearby residents.
The neighbours of the family heard a loud bang and they initially took it to be a sound of LPG cylinder burst. But when they entered the house, they found Omendra’s mother and his friend lying on the floor.
Omendra’s health was critically with severe shrapnel injuries all over his body with tiny projectiles hitting him on the face, chest and neck. Although he was rushed to hospital but unfortunately he succumbed to the injuries . Meanwhile his friend and his mother are undergoing medical treatment.
