A meeting of Stakeholders on “Women and Child Safety Related Issues” held on 14-7-22 which was organized by Crime Investigating Department (CID), Assam Police. The meeting was presided by DGP, Assam Police. He stated that convergence among the stakeholders has an important role to eliminate the crimes against children and women in the society.
Chairperson of Assam State Commission for Women (SCW), ADGP (CID), Addl. Secretaries from Labour Welfare Department, Department of Women and Child (WCD), Department of Education, Bachpan Bachao Andolan (NGO), Universities and other stakeholders were present in the meeting. The objective of the meeting was to form a monitoring committee including the stakeholders led by CID, Assam Police.
