The Assam State Convention of the Bharat Jodo Abhiyaan will be held on 24 September, 2023 at Pragjyoti Cultural Complex at 10:30 am. The main objectives of the BJA are to uphold the constitutional values and protect the democratic institutions. This will not be achieved unless we are able to defeat the BJP in the 2024 general elections. For this all the anti- BJP forces have to be united. Here civil society organisations have an important role to play. These are the issues to be discussed and decided in the BJA convention.
More than 500 delegates from different parts of Assam
and different civil society organisations are expected attend the convention which will be inaugurated by public intellectual Dr Hiren Gohain. Sri Yogendra Yadav and Sri Avik Saha from central Bharat Jodo Abhiyaan will attend it as chief guests.
