(Guwahati, Assam) – The HQ Eastern Command is proud to announce its upcoming event, the Ex Servicemen Job Seminar, to be held on 11, 12 Feb 2023 at Narangi Cantt, Guwahati under 51 Sub Area. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma and Lt Gen RP Kalita, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command shall be attending the event and addressing the ESM. This seminar is designed to connect veterans with local employers and provide them with the resources they need to find meaningful employment.
The Ex Servicemen Job Seminar will feature a wide range of employers, including small businesses and large corporations, as well as government agencies and non-profit organizations. These organizations will discuss job openings, provide information on their hiring process, and conduct on-site interviews.
In addition to the Job Seminar, the event will also include workshops and seminars on job search strategies, resume building, and interviewing techniques. These sessions will be led by experts in the field and will provide veterans with the tools they need to stand out in the job market.
An ESM rally will also be held, which would help veterans by providing Medical Camp. Reps of all record offices will also be present in the ESM rally to redress any documentation related grievances of ESM.
