Temjen Imna Along , the Nagaland Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, recently changed his display picture on Twitter  dedicating it the creator who is an  Assam-based artist. The artist identified as Bishal Deka beautifully created a realistic image of the Nagaland minister in acrylic paint on a peepal leaf .

Temjen Imna Along  was extremely happy by this dedicated art depicting  him so realistically in the leaf portrait . He further appreciated  Bishal Deka  for the astonishing  yet challenging art.

So the Nagaland Minister  took to twitter and  retweeted the images and video the following day after Bishal posted the videos and pictures of his own artwork. While sharing the images of the leaf portrait the  minister wrote,   “Ayalee! This is so Sweet! Thank you @BishalDekaArt for this beautiful and captivating piece of art! Guys you will be surprised to know that this painting has been created on a leaf of Peepal! उनके सर्जनशीलता को दाद देना पड़ेगा “. The last line roughly translates to, “The artist’s creativity has to be commended”.

Temjen Imna Along   further posted  a video of the making of the leaf portrait by Bishal  Deka . This time  the minister wrote , “As a token of love and appreciation, I will be using it as my DP!”
