Individuals , organisations and institutions who are working for the betterment of the community will be honoured with the ‘Nagaland SDG Action Award’ by the Nagaland government.
The award was announced on Thursday by the State planning and coordination department’s Sustainable Development Goals Coordination Centre to identify and facilitate the ones who have contributed in making a better Nagaland.
The award aims to encourage, promote and recognize the efforts of all thereby inspiring and empowering people to motivate them towards a more sustainable future through their actions .
There are three award categories – economic sustainability, social and community upliftment and environmental Sustainability.
The winner in each category will be awarded a cash award of Rs 50,000, a memento and a certificate.
