The closing ceremony of week long activities of National Girl Child Day, 2023 under was organized by Women and Child Development Department, Kamrup Metropolitan District today on 1st Feb, 2023. The winners of 1st Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Karate Championship, 2023, the winners of Inter School Kabaddi Competition, Drawing and Poster Competition were felicitated with trophies, medals and Certificates. Momento presented to the Assam Women Blind Cricket Team for their participation in T-20 women cricket tournament held in Bangaluru in 2023 and to Ashmita Paul, a girl child for her national level achievement in the field of Martial Arts.
