Bollywood Actress and Dancer Nora Fatehi, who recently performed at the FIFA fan fest event, has been severely criticised for holding the Indian flag upside down.
She has been slammed tremendously for disresepecting The Indian Flag at the event .During the event Nora collaborated with international rapper Nicki Minaj on the official FIFA World Cup anthem ‘Light the Sky.’ She also danced on her hit songs Garmi, Saki Saki, and Naach Mei Rani at the event .
While everything was going well with Nora giving her fiery performances but suddenly in one moment Nora asked for an Indian flag. After which she decided to intensify her performance by holding and waving the flag for the rest of the show. She even said Jai Hind while the crowd cheered along with her. Although people praised for her outstanding performance but after the videos went viral she is now being criticized.
The videos of her performance moment has gone viral and in a clip that is going viral on the internet, Nora can be seen wearing a shimmery dress waving the Indian flag and saying ‘Jai Hind’ on the international stage.
Holding the Tricolour, the actress said “Jai Hind!! Zor se, Zor Se Jai Hind!”. She also added, “India is not part of the FIFA World Cup but we are now in spirits through our music and dance.”
Although it seemed to be a windy weather and the flag turned upside down but Nora without realising held the flag clenched in her palm. Citizens are now enraged with her action for disrespecting the Indian Flag and has slammed her and even has demanded an apology from the star .
